The head cutting robot workstation features a single-station layout and is ideal for processing arbitrary plane curves and pre-weld bevels on materials like low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, and high-strength steel. The system includes a built-in PLC controller for automatic control of cutting and ignition. The plasma cutting system operates stably, ensuring precise workpiece positioning and cutting processes. This system is designed for continuous operation with an average monthly runtime of at least 700 hours, supporting a three-shift schedule with eight-hour shifts.
Product Highlights
Product Highlights
The robot system is equipped with a teaching pendant and a startup station for easy daily operations. A collision sensor is installed at the rear of the cutting torch for added safety during robot teaching. The plasma cutting torch assembly, including the torch, nozzle, gauge, and valve, is imported for high performance.
The system’s modular design ensures easy maintenance, while the new AC servo motors offer high output, fast response, and exceptional reliability. These motors provide a wide range of motion, stability, and high repeatability. The gas cutting system utilizes a three-way gas supply (cutting, preheating, and combustion) to ensure efficient cutting. During operation, a preheated plasma heats the cutting zone, and a high-purity oxygen stream oxidizes the metal. The high-speed oxygen flow also removes slag, enabling beveled cuts.
The control system employs distributed hardware architecture and reduced instruction set software to ensure precise timing and task execution. With 160,000 steps of memory, it supports network connections like Ethernet and DeviceNet.
The system also includes a programmer with a 6.5-inch color LCD display, allowing online parameter modification and fault self-diagnosis. The display can be switched between Chinese and English, and a dead-man switch is included for safety.

Working Principle
Working Principle
The gas cutting system uses a three-way gas supply (cutting, preheating, and combustion), with pressure gauges, solenoid valves, and a busbar for control. A splitter bar and hose connect to the rear of the cutting torch. The preheated plasma heats the cutting zone, and the high-purity oxygen stream oxidizes the metal while removing slag for beveled cutting.
